Luciano Busuttil and Silvio ‘Snus’ Zammit in 45-minute conversation this morning

I have received this photograph from a lawyer who took it at the Courts of Justice this morning. It shows Silvio ‘Snus’ Zammit, henchman of disgraced European Commissioner and consultant to Joseph Muscat, John Dalli, in deep conversation with majority MP Luciano Busuttil, chairman of the Malta Sports Council and occasional spokesman for European Affairs.
“I took the picture after seeing them talking head to head together for about 45 minutes on the ground floor,” the lawyer told me. “Zammit was there for his prosecution case. But Luciano is not on his defence team. His lawyers are Edward Gatt and Kris Busietta.”
Right now I can’t shake off the feeling that we’re living in a John Grisham novel.
