It’s not a rumour. It’s a fact. And here’s the medical certificate to prove it.

The Malta Independent has taken up my report of a fourth (attempted) suicide in police custody and is chasing the police for answers.

I have meanwhile obtained a photograph of the medical certificate which gives the details. The man, Fahid Najjim, was taken to Mount Carmel Hospital on the doctor’s instructions and may well still be kept in the Forensic Ward there. He is clearly another high-risk vulnerable person and is another death waiting to happen.
