KonRat Mizzi is still talking about his wealth. What wealth? According to his declaration to parliament, his bank loans exceed his bank deposits by around €10,000. And then, completely without any sense of irony, he announces that he has asked the Commissioner for Revenue to investigate him.

And another thing: please somebody tell him that “family planning” means birth control. I can’t stand to hear him say it one more time. The most effective form of family planning is to dispatch your wife to live permanently in China while you stay on in Malta.

He “didn’t give a second thought”, he says in this interview with The Sunday Times, to setting up a trust in New Zealand to hold a company in Panama even though he is a government minister in a European Union member state and his government is supposed to be marketing Malta as a financial services centre. And he doesn’t regret doing it.

No wonder his decisions in government have been so disastrous. But that may be because they have been designed mainly to put money into their secret companies in Panama, and not for the good of Malta and its people.

Get out now, frauds.
