Back in 2002, Joseph Muscat – who was then an activist in the Malta Labour Party, working for its website Maltastar (that should have shown us how fantastic he is at giving a quality product) – gave an interview to Malta Today in which he was asked whether he would ever go into elected politics.
No, he said, because to do that you have got to be a missionary, a thief or just plain mad. No prizes for guessing which one he is, and what his motivation was – so pressing that it changed his mind.
