What reaction – he hasn’t reacted at all

In Gozo this morning, Joseph Muscat told his usual suspects and die-hards that he “was wrong not to react sooner”.

But he didn’t say to what, he didn’t mention Konrad Mizzi (who right by him) and he didn’t mention Keith Schembri either.

Nor did he say how he has now reacted – because he still hasn’t reacted at all. Clearly, he is still hoping that he has some way of extricating himself from the mess – entirely of his own making – that has now engulfed him.
