Something is brewing with failed European Court of Auditors nominee Toni Abela

This photograph shows Toni Abela, until recently deputy leader of the Labour Party and currently a retained consultant to various government ministries, arriving at Brussels airport yesterday evening, using the airport’s VIP services. He is with Foreign Minister George Vella and Agriculture Parliamentary Secretary Roderick Galdes.

Fascinatingly, Finance Minister Edward Scicluna was on the same flight with the permanent secretary at the Finance Ministry, but they went through the normal channels rather than requesting VIP facilities, for which there are hefty charges.
