Crash millionaire Paul Bailey retains Prime Minister’s consultant as Malta media adviser

British millionaire Paul Bailey, who was driving the car that spun out of control and injured 28 people during a fundraising event for the President’s charity, was charged in court this morning along with others, excluding the President, who were involving in organising the event.

Bailey has retained the services of a consultant to the Prime Minister of Malta, Lou Bondi, who since 2013 has been paid €54,000 a year by the government to advise the Prime Minister on “national celebrations”.

His role is to advise Bailey on handling media coverage in Malta.
