Mrs Muscat goes to Dubai and meets a princess

My column in The Malta Independent yesterday – it’s about Mrs Muscat’s unexplained visit to Dubai to meet a princess, the fact that the Labour government is set to make the Labour Party’s long-time auditor chairman of the Bank of Valletta, Magistrate Joe Mifsud’s non-self-aware rant about political favours, and the fact that Joe Camilleri, who was Prime Minister Dom Mintoff’s private secretary for many years, has publicly described Muscat’s government as corrupt, in league with opportunists, and concerned only with companies in Panama. And that, coming from a man who served Malta’s second most corrupt and abusive prime minister of all time, is saying something.
