Free-spending government asks for people to donate their private property for social projects

Muscat’s free-spending government has made a formal request for private citizens to offer their personal property to the state for use in social projects, like shelters for the homeless and vulnerable.

Meanwhile, they spend on themselves and their cronies the tax-money that is meant for just this sort of thing. Joseph Muscat himself spent eight million euros more than his office budget this year alone. Think of all the houses that money could have bought to be used as overnight shelters for homeless people. Why, it could even have been used to buy sufficient numbers of small flats to put an end to their homelessness for good.
