Mrs Muscat, the Prime Minister’s wife, was on a flight out to Vienna today with just one of their daughters. Tomorrow is a school day. So is Monday. Tuesday, like today, is a public holiday. Presumably, she’s ‘bridging’ – and it’s yet another bridge too far because school rules are clear on the matter that children are not allowed to miss school to travel, and that parents may not take them on holiday during term-time.
