The Malta Independent reports that the Prime Minister has turned down, point blank, a request for a 30-minute interview by its In Depth team.
It also reports that Muscat has “chickened out” of a debate with the Opposition leader on the Friday-night TVM show, Xarabank.
Muscat has been giving journalists the slip since he became Prime Minister in 2013.
The problem has become progressively worse, escalating in 2016 after the Panama Papers scandal broke.
