Ram Tumuluri gives doctors and nursing staff Zara vouchers and free drinks to ‘buy’ their support

Ram Tumuluri, the man of questionable repute to whom Konrad Mizzi has signed over three of Malta’s public hospitals (Gozo General Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital and Karin Grech Hospital), is trying to wi over the support of doctors and nursing staff with what a couple of them have described drily as “a charm offensive”.

In December, he invited them to a party at a St Julian’s hotel, with plenty of free drinks. And now he has given them vouchers from Zara: two vouchers of €25 each.
