COLDWATERGATE: Joe Gerada only answers the phone when Saviour Balzan calls

Good point David Thake made here. He tried to ring Joe Gerada several times and got no reply. I tried to ring him through the whole of Tuesday – before I mentioned his name or uploaded his photographs and identity, so technically he should have had no idea why I wanted to speak to him – and he didn’t reply to my calls or messages, then set his phone to reject my number.
But when Saviour Balzan rings him for a ‘live’ Q & A, he answers pronto.
