Quick, somebody spike his drinks! The executive chairman sticks up for his driver’s brother’s pastizzi
Dishonest Jeffrey fails to mention that the Crystal Palace aka Is-Serkin has just been taken over by Kenneth Ciangura, whose brother Stephen Ciangura is his long-time driver and factotum, on secondment from the Armed Forces of Malta.
The Prime Minister did not pop by with his guests unexpectedly. It was all arranged, to promote the place and give it exposure in the news. That’s how these people operate: giving your cronies’ business a push is prioritised over correct behaviour.
I don’t imagine the prime ministers of Belgium, Luxembourg and Slovenia appreciate being used in that fashion under the pretext of being given “some local colour”. I’m quite sure that, at 2pm, they would far rather have had a proper lunch in civilised surroundings that are not owned by the brother of a drunken government crony’s factotum.
So first the executive chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology is caught brawling there, on a drunken night out at 5am when his second marriage is crashing and burning after just a year. And then his driver’s brother buys the place with all the money he made on a police constable’s salary.
Halluna, tridux.
