Even the Labour-led Zurrieq council is holding its Easter party at the Seabank

Readers, please keep sending them in because I can’t possibly keep track. So now even the Labour-led Zurrieq local council is holding its Easter party at Silvio Debono’s Seabank Hotel. Because it makes so much sense, when all your guests live in Zurrieq, to throw a party on the other side of the island, in a hotel where politicians are queuing up to hold their campaign events.

Are they getting the premises and catering for free or at a discount, is the mayor getting a cut, or is the council deliberately putting business Silvio Debono’s way?

These are all legitimate questions and they’ve got to be answered, in view of the current controversy and the photograph below, which shows the mayor of Zurrieq, Natius Farrugia, cosy with the owner of that hotel, Silvio Debono.
