Adrian Delia gives non-committal reply to questions about how he plans to get a seat in parliament
Yesterday, this website sent the following questions to Nationalist Party leadership contender Adrian Delia’s campaign communications aide.
Has any Nationalist member of parliament agreed to give up his or her seat to Dr Delia should he be elected party leader, making it possible for him to become Opposition leader?
Does Dr Delia have a formal or informal agreement in this regard?
If there is any such agreement, was the MP in question elected outright or in a casual election?
If there is no agreement with a member of parliament, how does Dr Delia plan to tackle this situation if he is elected.
The reply came this morning: “Dr. Delia is discussing the matter with the relevant people and will make an announcement on the matter at the appropriate time.”
Very transparent.
