We’re having it pushed at us that Identity Malta’s due-diligence process on those who apply to buy Maltese citizenship is really good if not actually excellent.
But of course – so that would be why a Vietnamese member of parliament and her entire family slipped through Identity Malta’s net and bought Maltese citizenship – only for Nguyen Thi Nguyet Huong to be forced to resign her seat in her country’s parliament after she was rumbled (not by the Maltese authorities).
