'Roaring Robert for hilarious Herrera'
Read the post immediately before this one to get a clear sense of what this is all about. Quite obviously, this man knew just why Robert Musumeci was so keen to defend the magistrate’s brother, but he couldn’t spell it out.
I’m rather surprised Malta Today didn’t point it out themselves, given their boast last Sunday that they knew all about the affair even when it was clandestine.

Roaring Robert for Hilarious Herrera
The hilarity goes on.
PN mayor Robert Musumeci (29 April) acts like a strengthening tonic to ailing Labour MP Jose’ Herrera, under attack from fellow Labour MP Joe Debono Grech for passing remarks about Labour leader Alfred Sant.
Can it get more hilarious?
PN mayor Musumeci entitled his letter “Shameful underlying intents”. One asks what his own intents are. Why is he defending Dr Herrera so strongly?
Is he investing in the political future of Dr Herrera?
In that case, I would agree with Edward Grech (22 April) that it is very difficult to imagine a future Labour government with Dr Herrera as parliamentary secretary or minister.
The lawyer simply lacks the political wherewithal for such a high-profile appointment. Not only, but would Alfred Sant be so naïve as to appoint someone who openly criticises him openly to such an important post?
History shows that Alfred Sant plays politics with subtlety. We all remember that whereas up to 1996 John Attard Montalto had been shadow minister for justice, upon being elected to power, Prime Minister Sant gave him the industry portfolio. It is very plausible to expect more of the same.
So, PN mayor Musumeci’s investment in Dr Herrera is very misguided. What are the underlying intents of PN mayor Musumeci when he writes to so vehemently defend Labour MP Herrera?
Could it be that this is just another PN ploy? Just like the PN propaganda machine keeps repeating that Dr Sant is Labour’s greatest liability, PN mayor Musumeci keeps repeating that Dr Herrera is a good politician for Labour.
The PN wants to keep Labour on the Opposition benches… is this why it harps against Dr Sant and in favour of Dr Herrera?
The hilarity seems to be in no hurry to end…

AND HERE’S ANOTHER ONE, IN THE SAME VEIN

Hilarious Herrera
That Dr Jose’ Herrera needed PN Mayor Robert Musumeci to bail him out of the embarrassing situation of being labelled “anti-Alfred Sant” by Joe Debono Grech (15 April) it is a very hilarious situation indeed.
If I were Dr Herrera I would feel humiliated that someone from the other side decided to defend me against my own leader. I thought it was obvious that Dr Herrera would be against Dr Sant, particularly since he wanted to take the latter’s place as party leader.
On the other hand, I find it extremely hilarious that Dr Herrera would want to lead the Malta Labour Party. In my opinion, Dr Herrera does not have the political savvy to hold the position of leader.
He may have a knack at playing judicial games, but he surely lacks the gravitas required to make a leader. The very fact that he is defended in public by a prominent, albeit second-division exponent of the other side, suffices to show Dr Herrera’s lack of political clout.
Actually, I would be sincerely surprised if Dr Herrera were made a parliamentary secretary, let alone a minister, in the forthcoming Labour government.
