Any man who thinks this kind of thing is attractive to women probably needs to be shot at dawn

I’m assuming they’re heterosexual because that is the gist of the original piece in The Telegraph – though let’s be clear, I’m far more shocked by the inability of a online columnist for The Telegraph to distinguish between practices and practises than I am by the half-thongs and their cunning engineering.

They’re gay – from The Only Way is Essex.
TOWIE (the only way is Essex) is a reality TV. Bobby and Harry are gay.
[Daphne – Thank for saying that. If I had said it, the usual suspects would have jumped on me for being ‘homophobic’. That columnist probably felt the same way, too, which is why she’s treating them as straight.]
What happens if they sneeze ?
Just pray you’re not sitting behind any of them or you may end up with a head wear like Moshe Dayan used.

Unbelievably degenerate.
They look as fruity as a punch bowl salad.
Sometimes worse mistakes are made by the BBC online.
Self-centred narcissists. Only interested in themselves.
These people are ridiculous and chronically narcissist.
Gays did not emerge in the bloody 70s.
A willykini!!
It’s a Bikkini as in ‘Arani issa’
I am more intrigued by this practices and practises business, which I quite honestly fail to understand, than by the pics of these sick people.
[Daphne – Practice is the noun and practise is the verb. That’s in British English. In American English, practise does not exist and both noun and verb are practice.]
You are perfectly right.
I am still in a quandary.
Where did the Telegraph columnist go wrong?
[Daphne – The term encapsulates the new breed of male who thinks nothing of using (and abusing) products, practises and pleasures previously only the domain of women and gay men. Practises including wearing half-thongs to the beach. ]
Thank you.
I never bothered to go to the column itself.
Now, that I have read it, I know what you mean.
Peacock got her verbs, nouns and knickers all in a twist.
This is no great surprise.
Not all that many English people can write good, correct English.
Here’s Steve Hughes on the “straightness” of gay men, and the “gayness” of straight men.

At long bloody last.
Sweet.
This looks like my great-uncle Vincenzo ‘Whoopsie’ Camenzuli-Baxxter’s wardrobe malfunction during the diving event at the 1936 Olympics. He won, but was disqualified and had to forfeit. The Führer refused to shake his hand and he ended his days in obscurity, dying at Dunkirk.
Looking forward to having Natius Farrugia sport one fuq il-Hnejja aka Blue Grotto.
a new meaning to “my better half?”
I do not wish to see this at Mellieħa this year. I honestly don’t.
