The prime minister gets a tu quoque response from Michael Falzon

The Nationalist Party’s Sunday newspaper, Il-Mument, has reported that Michael Falzon is under heavy pressure to resign, that the prime minister has actually asked for his resignation (you know, like he did with Manuel Mallia…) and that Falzon more or less told him where to shove his request.

Can you blame him? Falzon is merely following the prime minister’s lead with the king of all tu quoque responses. His attitude will be: ‘You said that you would resign if the power station wasn’t up and running in two years and then you didn’t keep your word. So why should I go now?’
