    Reminds me of those ice creams you find in the stores. The wrapping is nice and inviting. But once you throw away the wrapping, you are left with cream dribbling down a soggy cone. Only to find out later that the use by date on the wrapping had passed already.

    PL supporters were up in arms yesterday (at least on the timesofmalta.com) after Dr. Lawrence Gonzi passed a remark about the new emblem. Does he not have better things to do with his time, they chided.

    They were scandalised that he should have spent the best part of perhaps one minute tops to rubbish it and yet they saw nothing wrong with the fact that their party has wasted a year’s worth of energy and commitment to choose a strawberry ice-cream cone for an emblem. Change the world, that will.
