And the Justice Minister is spending ‘quality time’ with his daughter on a workday afternoon
The Gozo Minister spent the afternoon at an antiques auction (see previous post), while the Justice Minister spent it at the Corner View Restaurant/Pizza by Luca in Marsascala, with his primary-school-age daughter, who he left for Janice Bartolo. This was not at lunchtime, but at around 3pm.
His daughter was left on her own at a restaurant table, fiddling around or staring into space, while he walked up and down the room talking on his mobile phone. Somebody who was there in the restaurant at the time told me: “He must have covered kilometres pacing up and down, and he was totally absorbed, discussing the present situation. But I only caught words here and there. I really felt sorry for his child. She was really left on her own, totally ignored by her father, who should have been at the office at that time, anyway.”
Meanwhile, his chauffeur waited outside the entire time in the Minister’s official car, wearing its GM 25 plates.
