Does the Labour Party approve of its MPs speaking to people like this?

Published: November 26, 2014 at 9:11am

We know that Luciano Busuttil doesn’t quite understand that he is a member of parliament and holds public office in other spheres and that therefore his behaviour and language have to be exemplary.

He doesn’t understand, either, that in his position he should not insult members of the public.

So his party bosses should tell him.

Labour MPs elsewhere resign because they tweet a picture of a working-class house with barely a comment. And our Labour MP publicly insults people directly on Facebook and says he will ‘sue their ass’.

Then of course there’s the irony of somebody with the intelligence of a gnat telling others that their stupidity knows no limits – like Cyrus Engerer jitkaza because Ann Fenech tweeted a photograph from the Strangers Gallery. Maybe he was shocked because nobody was naked and having sex in it.

Luciano thinks this website is rubbish and not worth a dime. Oh well. I suppose that’s why he reads it so avidly then. Interesting that he should blame me when all the other non-Labour-controlled media went to town with it. OK, so I was the one who broke the story – but still. It shows how these Labour jerks have actually started to believe their own propaganda that I am to blame for everything and must be eliminated.

A couple of years ago I parked my car close to Luciano Busuttil’s house in Marsaxlokk and his absolute hamalla of a wife with her dyed blonde hair came out screaming at me for taking up ‘their’ parking space even though it was marked with white lines and not yellow.

She swore and cursed and had she been a man I would have probably knocked her over.

My point being, this is the sort of household that Luciano Busuttil lives in, so it is no news to me that at times his true colors pop out on Facebook as well. But he represents the Labour Party and so he should control himself.

    • observer says:

How on earth do you expect Luciano Busuttil – and any other similiarly endowed gidra, for that matter – to ‘control himself’?

You have asserted that he represents the Labour Party – which, like its past leaders since Mintoff”s break with Dr Boffa back in 1947, is light-years away from any sort of decency, self-control and similiar human virtues.

Looking forward to getting sued because I ‘read too much rubbish on blogs’, then.

    Big brother is watching you!

  3. Jozef says:

Luciano might care to explain how blogs are poisoned whereas newspapers are not.

  4. Osservatore says:

It does not take much to realise that Luciano Busuttil himself is not a statesman. He is however very similar to Joseph Muscat – a vicious bottom-feeder. And in case anyone was wondering, the brown on his nose is none other than Muscat’s shit.

  6. Jonathan says:

It is amazing how all Labour politicians claim to never read this blog and yet they know everything that is written in it.

  7. Wilson says:

One of the worst things the prime minister did last night was to speak directly to the camera when he is supposed to address the Speaker. This is the same as speaking in court and not addressing the judge or magistrate. The Speaker should have brought him to heel.

  8. Kevin says:

The Labour way of dealing with critics and criticism: “When logic and reason fail or when you know you are wrong, simply call the other person names or tell that person that he or she is being negative. Quash all criticism. Do not respond to it. And, when all else fails resort to some bullying tactic – usually physical violence, shouting, or impressive statements to mimic superiority and make you feel invincible.”

The rule reflects the broader malaise of the Maltese – an inability to dispassionately and objectively examine the facts, to think critically, and to form a logically deduced opinion.

I wonder how Luciano Busuttil got his legal degree. Lawyers should have strong analytical and critical skills.

  9. Joe Fenech says:

He’s far too used to people ventilating him on Facebook.

  10. Michael says:

Well at least he did not threaten that man’s children, as he did with me three times.

First he threatened to sue me, then to report me to the police and finally, he told me these exact words, saved in private chat on FB: “Kieku jien bniedem kattiv immur il-……. nursery u malajr inkun kattiv”.

With this he wanted to show me that an idiot, who is a kunsillier jhawwel il-fjuri fuq ir-roundabouts and as a hobby or part-time, and who works at the football nursery where my children go, passed him this information in breach of data laws, and he used it to frighten me.

But I am sure he won’t last long, the power went to his head to the extent that it will outweigh his body.

Even his statement “sue your ass” comes straight from US speak, bottom-feeding low-life

  12. does not matter says:

If you would know how the ministers and permanent secretaries speak with their civil servants then you would know that it seems to be NORMAL for them to speak like that.

By now the ministries are full of insults, shootings, harassments, etc. At the education department nobody is even allowed to speak a private word.

This PL government wants to convert the public services into a big Leisure Clothing.

The worst of all is Leo Brincat but the fish stinks from the head. Just listen to Joseph. He is telling us all the time everyone is lazy.

I know many, many people which would resign on the spot if it would be guaranteed that a new government would re-instate them. Those people do not even care anymore if they get a wage or not. They just want to get out of the mad houses.

Nobody of PL is working for the good of the country. They actually are constantly harming the country.

  13. Pontius says:

The definition of a statesman according to J Rufus Fears:

    1. a bedrock of principles
    2. a moral compass
    3. a vision
    4. the ability to build consensus to achieve that vision
    5. is not a tyrant

  14. Pontius says:

A politician and a statesman are not the same thing, and Luciano Busuttil is unable to distinguish between the two.

He should get off Facebook and read more widely.

  15. H.P. Baxxter says:

Leave him alone. I’ve grown rather fond of our Luciano. He’s a cheeky little rascal. And the source of about half my Twitter traffic.

  16. Benny Hill says:

“Sue your ass” huh? This chap has been watching too many American movies. What a tool, a right tool.
