Queen Michelle hosts her daughters’ schoolmates at Villa Francia

This business of Michelle Muscat and San Anton School has now become a little…ridiculous.

Tomorrow, children in the third grade are being taken to Villa Francia – where the Spouse of the Prime Minister presides as chatelaine. Parents only received the notice by email today (I imagine to avoid a mass boycott) and the explanation given by the assistant headmaster is that this is part of their ‘humanities topic’ which is ‘old and new’.

I can think of a lot of old buildings that are older and more interesting than Villa Francia, and which have a history that can be explained to children.
