Sander Agius: Who are you calling black?

Sander Agius: Who are you calling black?

Ahem. This is excerpted from Chrysander Agius’s ‘profile’ on maltastar.com: “Being a first Child I spent my first 3 years under Labour government, experimenting with myself and felt something inside which was going to transform me into the man I am now.” All sorts of images come to mind unbidden.

He wraps it up with “I am scruffy, jumpy and totally mad at times!!”. My experience of people who describe themselves as mad, as in fascinatingly crazy !!!!!! rather than a candidate for a mental home, is that they are just plain irritating and totally uncool. You want to use a fly-swatter on them, especially when they’re experimenting with themselves.

Would love to see someone like Sander do a Watermelon Man. Spending more time under the sun lamps might also do it; but that’s for the really cool people. (Like the reference to Thursdays and Sundays btw).

In between experimenting with himself was he also reading Saint Theresa of Avila’s account of her mystical experiences?

The man must be innumerate, or else I’m missing something. He says he spent the first three years of his life experimenting with himself under a Labour government, which means he was born in 1984. Then he says that after studying for O-levels and A-levels, which should bring us to 2002, and a further three years studying hotel management, which should bring us to 2005, he went off to work in films….in 1999.

What a riddle! But I’ve worked it out. When he stopped experimenting with himself after the first three years, Labour was still in government.

The experiment must have failed … with disastrous effect.
