Hey, girls: the official Christmas Day episode should be broadcast tonight, which means that bastard Archie Mitchell gets killed in the Queen Vic. Stand by with the whisky and Twistees.

Something tells me I’m going to be a little late for dinner, but my friends will understand.

No Daph, it wasn’t – as I’m sure you know by now, and I’ve been waiting two weeks for it. Grrrrrr.
Happy New Year by the way.

  2. Mark C says:

Eastenders is more contagious than the swine flu. So it’s not just my mother.

  3. Darren says:

Why is it always a Mitchell that has to be the bastard? Have they run out of ideas? I guess that happens when you have a soap that has been on air since 1985.

  4. Any guesses as to who is the guilty person. I suppose Janine is the only suspect that doesn’t have any family that would be affected if she was the one.

[Daphne – And she has a track record: she pushed her husband Barry off a cliff after marrying him for his ‘money’.]

  5. Bambie Smith says:

Idiots having nothing to do should watch it. Don’t miss this **** of a soap.

  6. Kelinu says:

He was not, actually. Looks like the killing is set for next Monday,

Thing is…who will then be there to hate once Archie’s gone? Who will the other characters spend 30 minutes a day 4 days a week screaming at?

Or maybe it will turn out to have been just a bad dream after all – as was the case with JR back then in Dallas.

  7. Holland says:

Barbara Windsor is leaving the series later on this year, so there is a good chance they will justify her absence as ‘jail-time’. As we know, life only goes on in The Square…
