Had Fr Lucie-Smith not lived in Malta, he would not know what hit him, with that barrage of comments in defence of Mintoff. Charles Crawford wasn’t so lucky some two years ago (http://daphnecaruanagalizia.com/2010/03/maltastar-read-this-and-weep/).

It’s so funny how every time they come across couple of lines written in good English and criticising Labour, they immediately assume it’s Daphne using a secret alias.
It’s like they’re convinced that Daphne is the only Maltese citizen who can write proper English.
