And now Mr Flick-Knife wants to get rid of the health minister, ‘ghax he did me a lot of harm’
MAM acknowledges that major expenditure has been invested in infrastructure such as Mater Dei Hospital and that the medicines bill to the ministry of finance has progressively increased, Balzan said.
“However the investment in high quality specialisation programmes in Malta both for hospital doctors and GPs, combined with the opportunity for periods of study abroad, not only has raised standards of medical care but has reversed completely the 50% medical brain drain which used to plague the health service.”
– Dr Martin Balzan, president of the Medical Association of Malta, quoted by Malta Today
The reason for Mr Flick-Knife’s venomous vendetta against the health minister? He believes that Joe Cassar, a consultant psychiatrist before leaving his practice to take up a cabinet portfolio, has been profiling/assessing Mr Flick-Knife professionally so as to give the prime minister a better grip on handling him.

And now it’s Joe Cassar. It’s deja vu after Carm Mifsud Bonnici, Richard Cachia Caruana, Austin Gatt. Franco is nearing the cliff’s edge. The PN will be cleaner and stronger without him whilst he will be politically dead and buried.
And if parliament is not dissolved, I’m guessing he’ll turn on Mario de Marco next.
I think we’re at the point when telling Franco mur hudu f’gh**x ommok is not only legitimate but eminently sensible
Where was Franco Debono when Jesmond Mugliett was a minister?
[Daphne – Working behind the scenes to unseat Louis Galea and Helen D’Amato.]
Prosit Daphne!
Truth is just like we regretted losing the gentleman that is Louis Galea by voting in this tosser, so will the country realise how good Lawrence Gonzi was once they give Muscat a ceens.(apologies to HP)
I have the impression that Minister Cassar is the only one in the cabinet qualified to do Franco any good.
It does not take Joe Cassar to work out what’s wrong with Debono. My veg man sussed him out a long time ago. He summed it up in one word: miskin.
