   So Gonzi speaks well and without outside assistance, both during meetings and in international fora. He has managed to do so again and again with brilliant results like recent the whopping €1.12 billion in EU funds.

   Joseph here can’t even speak to the impressionable and brainwashed Labourite youth – who would vote for him even if he insulted them a la Mintoff – without help. I keep wondering how he would fare in front of self-made and more experienced statesmen to represent Malta’s interests. Not a pretty prospect.

     Re your last sentence. No wonder you – and so many thousands of us – keep wondering. Il-ginger simply can’t do anything of the sort.

     The trouble is that Malta’s standing internationally will go down to absolute zero – much like it was in old Dom’s time because of his antics.
