No wonder Vincent de Bono stuck with Silvio Parnis for so many years

Published: November 21, 2013 at 9:21pm

This is a man of 40 who still lives with his parents, and who wrote a few days ago (in one of his ‘Silvio Parnis ruined my life and stole from old ladies’ Facebook posts) that his mother brought out all the Christmas tinsel and trimmings and decorated the house to cheer him up because he was so down in the dumps.

For all the world as though this is a normal way for a man of 40 to think, talk, behave and be treated by his parents.

So much for whistleblowing on embezzlement of charity funds and exploitation of the old, ill and vulnerable. Imagine Silvio Parnis as cabinet minister with this chap as his private secretary, as promised.

    A 40 year old virgin.

  2. Pandora says:

His relationship with his parents is clearly still that of a child and he unconsciously seeks to perpetuate this with others.

He blindly “served” Silvio Parnis and when he felt abandoned he latched on to Chris Fearne. This man is in desperate need of psychotherapy.

Well it would not have been much better than Manwel Mallia and his chief of staff Zer 088 Scerri.

The funny (or tragic) fact is that he has posted a statement for the press wherein he is stating that his post was up for just 30 seconds and during these 30 seconds, a print screen was taken by Daphne.

He is either clearly lying or else living on black hole, as the print screens clearly show that he had more than one post, and some of the, had been there for days ans the one that had the shortest time was more than 12 hours old.

Presumably all the comments from his friends were also written within that same 30 second period.

The real scandal here is that no one has yet called the Guiness Book of World Records to record the fastest comment page ever.

True – I just can’t imagine Silvio Parnis as minister.

On the other hand, if this guy simply engaged in a tirade out of anger, then his cabbage requires a bit of checking.

Dan il-bniedem ta’ erbghin sena qieghed sew, jew.

Ghalkemm Slivio ma’ tahx dak li ried, l-aqwa li ommu, biex turih daqxejn fsied, hargitli t-tizjien tal-Milied.

One of life’s losers. Still, even a loser can at times be capable of saying the truth.

  8. Peritocracy says:

40? From the Facebook pic and gross naivety I’d have said a very immature 20.

  9. catharsis says:

    Tragic.

  10. edgar says:

Bringing out the Christmas tinsel for a 40 year old man who is feeling down gives the true picture of the kind of people that Silvio Parnis had as his helpers.

  11. Catherine says:

The pathos in those Facebook posts was unbelievable. I think there were even comparisons to the sufferings of Jesus Christ in there. Clearly a complete mummy’s boy who thinks the world revolves around him and who is used to getting his own way in everything.

I notice a lot of Maltese men with this strange mummy-boy affliction, and the accompanying self-involvement and acting out in Greek tragedy style whenever something goes wrong for them.

Think Franco Debono, Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and Joseph Muscat. Or don’t – I don’t want to put anyone off their breakfasts, which is when this comment will probably be seen.

  12. Wayne Hewitt says:

    What an incompetent clique.
