There’s now a Wikipedia entry for Shiv Shankaran Nair

Shiv Nair

Somebody who seems to be very well informed has posted a Wikipedia entry for the prime minister’s friend and adviser, and Malta Enterprise consultant, Shiv Shankaran Nair.

It can’t be Nair himself, who dislikes attention except where it involves contracts, money and the ruling powers of non-democratic states. Nair would not have gone into detail about his debarment by the World Bank, either, or the freezing of his assets.

This is all very mysterious – and it really doesn’t do Malta any good to be mentioned in that context, as the prime minister having chosen an adviser like that, not only because of his debarment and the cartel in which he was involved (which led to the debarment), but also because he specialises in consulting for the governments of third-world and undemocratic states.

Perhaps we are going to ‘integrate’ with some of those?
