Joseph Muscat: selling passports in Singapore with the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda

Published: October 28, 2014 at 2:51pm

The prime minister has popped off to sell passports in Singapore with the prime minister of the Caribbean islands Antigua and Barbuda.

Great branding: Malta with Antigua and Barbuda.

Well, I don’t blame him. With those pesky Chinese making him dance round bowed and naked for his millions, he’s going to have to ramp up Plan B.

Again, I ask whether any reporter is capable of asking the question as to what obliges our Prime Minister to act as the salesman for Henley and Partners.

Does he personally get a fee for each appearance, is he on commission? Alternatively, does Henley receive a bill from the Office of the Prime Minister for each trip? What does the secret contract say?

Can anybody ask how our salesman is flying – economy or club class – and who pays, his boss at Henley or the Malta purse.

How cheap. How much lower shall we get. Soon we’ll be ashamed to say we’re Maltese when we’re abroad.

Enough with running a mobile shop, Joseph Muscat should start to clean up all the mess he’s made in Malta (not that he can).

Exactly. Unfortunately he has neither the desire nor the inclination to do so. Even if he wanted to, you’re right, he can’t.

No wonder Angela Merkel brushed him aside and gave him no importance.

    • P Bonnici says:

The people buying these passports would be heading to Germany not Malta, that is why Angela was not pleased with him.

    Singapore?

Did he take Martin Scicluna with him, to tell them how fantastic Malta is under Labour?

F**k**g door to door salesman. What an embarrassment for us Maltese, forced to hide our passports after these antics….

Wait till Jo changes the passport cover to Sharia green with that cacti and luzzu under the punishing sun emblem with the second page written in Arabic.

Can we have some reporters waiting for him at the airport and cornering him with questions??
