Hani Hasan N Salah also incorporated Sadeen Rehabilitation Services (Malta) Ltd in June last year
Hani Hasan N Salah, the Jordanian hotel developer who incorporated Sadeen Education Investment Ltd in Malta last year and personally owns all of its shares bar the token one, also incorporated another company on the same day.
That company is Sadeen Rehabilitation Services (Malta) Ltd and the shareholding structure is identical: he owns all the shares personally.
From Joseph Muscat’s speech at the signing of the ‘St Barts’ deal in Gozo last March:
St. Luke’s Hospital will come back into life. There will be a rehabilitation area, fully equipped labs for CT Scans, PET Scans and MRIs.
So, let’s see if I can sum things up more or less as they would have happened. One of Joseph Muscat’s ‘consultants’ or cronies met Hani Hasan N Salah on the Middle Eastern circuit and brokered a deal in which Hani Hasan N Salah gets a large parcel of public land and a hospital in Malta that he can use to recycle his personal profits from a hotel and contracting business which he owns with others.
The consultant or crony who brokered the deal gets a cut or a piece of the action, the Maltese public loses its land and gets a boot up the backside, and the Malta government struck this deal because – I don’t wish to go there, but I have a pretty good idea.
