The Prime Minister’s aide is a lousy strategist
Other than bad, amoral and criminal, the worst thing a person can be is stupid. It is far better to be halt and lame and to look like the back end of a bus than to be stupid.
The top story today on the sub-literate blog written by the Prime Minister’s aide, Glenn Bedingfield, from his desk at the Office of the Prime Minister, is businessman Marin Hili’s old association with the Nationalist Party. Readers over 40 will remember the Labour Party’s campaign slogans about ‘barunijiet’ in the 1996 general election campaign.
Glenn Bedingfield’s stupidity manifests itself in the fact that he’s banging on about this old story when Marin’s actual brother, Beppe, is a Labour Party donor AT PRESENT, who helped bankroll Joseph Muscat’s campaign in the last general election. Beppe Hili is a rabid Labour Party supporter and Labour HQ ‘fourth floor’ businessman who made people sick with his rooting for Muscat in the years leading up to the 2013 campaign.
I had written about it here on 25 February 2013. And then I wrote about it here again on the same day.
The following day, I wrote about it here again, but the press were far too busy chasing down a dumb clock to take an interest in this kind of real corruption.
And then, on 23 May 2013, I alerted my readers to the fact that the new Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat, was right at that moment visiting Beppe Hili – alone – at his house in Madliena. I included photographs of the Prime Minister’s Alfa parked outside and watched over by security officers and his chauffeur.
