Muscat on the subject of corruption

Looking at this video now, with hindsight, it really is astonishing that anyone ever trusted him. Smirks, furrows, self-satisfaction, unconvincing reading off the screen, and above all, the whole sleazy look. I wouldn’t have bought a soup-liquidiser from this man if I found him in a shop. The outcome was inevitable.
But ignore all that now – water under the bridge – and listen to what he says about corruption from his seat in the Opposition. All the while he was cross and jealous because he saw government as the route to personal illicit riches, and thought that the Nationalists were all filling their pockets like his friend John Dalli.
