You will notice that Michael Briguglio isn’t carping and kvetching about “proof”
Politics and public life are not a court of law, and the sooner Maltese idiots – I’m sorry I have to put it that way, but you’d think some people never got themselves a proper education, which is about accurate – understand this, the better for the island’s sanity.
Right now, our Prime Minister, his chief of staff and his cosy-minister are all facing serious allegations of money-laundering. Instead of respecting democracy and public life and getting the hell out of government – the Labour Party can stay on in government, just not with them to encumber it – they lining up their troops to scream ‘Liar’ at those who point out that the situation in Malta is so far from normal that we have actually forgotten what normal is and need outsiders (not from Azerbaijan or Montenegro) to remind us.
I’m glad that Michael Briguglio has spoken out. He puts the carping kvetches, including Cassola of AD, to shame. Some people clearly can’t even begin to understand how very dangerous the situation is. Another five years of this criminal nucleus running the island, and it’s pretty much finished as we become the washing-machine of the southern Mediterranean.
Azerbaijan, for God’s sake. What are people thinking, defending this madness?
