Lydia Abela wants you to vote Labour so that she and her avaricious husband Robert can carry on slurping it up at the trough

Lydia Abela, the Labour Party’s greedy executive secretary, who has been the recipient of corrupt government contracts and direct orders as has her money-hungry husband, has sent out a chain-letter email – just like Keith Schembri – urging us to vote Labour.

ARE YOU THINKING OF NOT VOTING?

Don’t be tempted to stay at home on Saturday, thinking your vote doesn’t count. We know the polls are tight – Your vote could be crucial in deciding who governs Malta next. PL has achieved a great deal, but we have more work to do together.

The only realistic alternative is PN taking charge, and they are clear that they want to undo all our successes. If the PN clique crawls into power – via their campaign of innuendo and sleaze – then the discrimination and unfairness will return too. It really is down to you.

We can not take the economic success of the past four years for granted. Your hard work in building a surplus will pay for the hospitals, and schools and transit systems of the future. Joseph Muscat and his team will continue to grow the economy and spread the wealth so that everyone – from the lowest paid, to first-home buyers and pensioners – feel the benefits, and nobody is left behind.
