Since 1400hrs, the word’s been going round that the Big Chicken was about to turn up at the counting-hall to admit defeat. So far, it’s been a no show. Let’s hope he’s not hitting the whisky bottle because the last thing this country needs now is another ‘partnership won’ debacle on the back of a lorry at Mile End.
Now it’s been announced that Lawrence Gonzi is going to turn up first. Well, it’s about time that one of them showed their face. A whole day of counting votes and neither of the two prime ministerial options is anywhere to be seen. Show yourselves, boys.

Switch on to One TV and you can see that only music is heard while scenes from the counting hall are shot. What happened to the journalists on One TV and their commentaries?

For the sake of the country I wish the losers would just concede.
TVM said that an AD candidate has 600 votes in Sliema and this might be a problem because he might inherit some number 2 votes and be elected. In this case it is, apparently, the no seats that count.
