Close encounters with Benny Borg Bonello's earwax

Did you see the closing shot of Inkontri on Super One?

Joe Grima’s voice gravely intoned “il-lejl it-tajjeb” while we were treated to a close-up of Benny Borg Bonello’s ear as he stuck something into it to clean it.

Benny Borg Bonello is the man who masterminded Labour’s general election campaign.

There’s no doubt it was a mistake, but it just about sums up the lot of them.

My apologies to Joe Grima, whose ear I thought it was at first. Close examination of the screen-shot shown here demonstrates that it wasn’t Joe. It was Benny.
