Has il-Ministru tas-Sawt moved to tal-pepe Sliema?

My spies (and given how that’s my original home-town, I have many there) tell me that Silvio Parnis has for some time now been seen often walking along the front in the early morning, too early for him to have driven down from the Sawt for the purpose of a bit of exercise.

But today there was a fresh development: he was seen with Herr Flick, accompanying him on his daily 6.30am walk on the front. Jaqaw?

No, of course not. Leo Brincat probably needed some intellectual inspiration for his tweets, and rang Silvio Parnis for a discussion of Rolling Stone magazine.

I always read that as Ministru tas-Swat.

    Must be dyslexia.

Perhaps the Labour Party is planning on filling the constituency gap left by Joseph Cuschieri, and assumes that another root vegetable is required.

There goes the neighbourhood. That explains the fall in Sliema house prices.

I had met il-Ministru tas-Sawt some weeks after the last election on the Sliema front where we had a chummy non-political conversation.

Some two years ago we saluted each other again at the supermarket opposite Stella Maris church. Nice guy – no clout though.

    Winserteris is nice.

Maybe it’s not a bad thing – maybe this time round my mother won’t have to endure too many water cuts.

Maybe, Herr Flick is giving private lessons to Parnis on how to be a perfect berk.

Nothing elaborate or suspicious going on here – it’s just that Leo dropped his pills in the toilet.
