‘It would be very silly to change a politician like Gonzi of such proven skill that he earns the support for Malta of the whole EU for someone who fought tooth and nail for Malta to stay out of the EU but, when the attempt failed, immediately jumped on board as a Labour MEP. What intimation of superb statesmanship in the making!’ Francis Saliba M.D.

Daphne, I’m not sure if your eagle eyes have noticed or not, but if you go to “A Day in the Life of Joseph” on timesofmalta.com, PLEASE fast forward and pause the video on 2:18, and you’ll notice that Joseph Muscat keeps his formal socks and shoes on for his workout.

    • d_Riddler says:

That’s because it’s all fake, even the workout itself.

All is intended to make us think that he works out nearly every day. ‘A day in the life’ should be typical. It is obvious from his shape that it is not.

    • La Redoute says:

So he even fakes a gym workout.

Townshend’s Seventies anthem cannot make any more sense than in this context…meet the new boss same as the old boss

More reminders like these please and show them on prime time television preferably on ONE.

With 1.2 billion Euro available, Joseph Muscat is going to be the most spoiled boy in Europe.

I just heard them singing on One tv
Malta Taghna Lkoll… taghna lkoll, taghna lkoll, taghna lkoll.
I fear they will soon be singing
Malta Taghna Biss… taghna biss, taghna biss, taghna biss.

    • malteser says:

labour in the eu are not the same labour in Malta… PL are more a dictatorship which is nowadays unorthodox. They even hold the torch close to their heart, getting a heartburn every time someone asks them a question that might foil their plans.

Labour is rewriting history as we speak.

Have a look at this. If Joseph and his movement will be elected, we will be made to pay for health services.

How can Anglu Farrugia first publicly state that Joseph Muscat is a liar and then return to the fold – under the same unchanged leadership – and then only one week later accept to represent the same party under Joseph – its Leader that lopped him in a frame-up scenario?

Was it because the polls showed an ever narrowing gap? Another ‘deal’ with Anglu reached to ensure survival of Queen Bee? Is he now happy with the position now offered, in compensation? Is Joseph happy about having additionally been forced into a compromise?

By the same token how can John Bencini state that he was ‘misinterpreted’ when his bluff was called?

Too many lies and no backbone in Labour. And we are to believe that this too is normal? does not exist? never happened? no comment? or that all lies will stop if they are elected?

Dream on. This just highlights their desperation. Serene my foot. Hair loss increasing by the day more like it.

The Labour ship of fools is boarding now. Passengers are kindly asked to proceed to the gates and present their voting document.

  12. just me says:

I was wondering this morning what ministerial posts would be given to Joe Debono Grech and George Vella.
Where are they? Why is Joseph’s movement hiding them? I would love to see them in tv debates.

  13. old-timer says:

Re Anglu Farrugia: Am I mistaken ifI say that Farrugia RESIGNED from the Labour Party? If yes, how come he has gone to the Falklands to represent the Party he has resigned from? – Someone please help me in this.

    • ciccio says:

Apparently the trip had been booked a long time ago.

I think what Joseph Muscat was rejoicing on Super One yesterday was not that Anglu has accepted the trip, but that he will be too far away to be able to cause further embarrassment to JosephMuscatDotCom until the end of the electoral campaign.
It is possible that by the time Anglu is due back, JosephMuscatDotCom will be Prime Minister, and at that point he can bar Anglu from re-entering the country.

      • ciccio says:

Thanks to Net, I have just watched again what Joseph Muscat said on Sunday about Anglu Farrugia.

Among other things, he said that Labour’s door was always open.

In fact, he first kicked Anglu Farrugia out of the door and out of the party in December.

Now he has kicked Anglu out of the door and as far as the Falklands.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

The trip’s a freebie. Anglu Farrugia is Maltese. QED

    • Eva Peron says:

JosephMuscatDotCom must be hoping that Argentina will attack the Falklands, again, while Anglu Farrugia is there.

    • Neil Dent says:

I’m quite sure that AF would NEVER resign from the LP.

  14. Aunt Hetty says:

Anglu and The Mullet consigned to the Falklands for a meeting with the resident billy goats and sheep.

    Wow, how edifying.

  15. yvette says:

Does anyone here remember the oldies song, “A day in the life of a fool.”

Joseph Muscat is a fool who thinks that intelligent people cannot see through his fantasy games to create a clean image.

Behind that sneer pretending to be a smile there is a nasty man pretending to be nice.
